   As each patient is an individual, it is essential that a detailed consultation is undertaken with our trained medical staff before any treatments start so that the most suitable advice and treatment can be provided.

   We also believe that the patient needs to thoroughly understand the diagnosis and treatment options and these will be discussed during consultation, as will the prices.  Information guides will also be provided to take away to help patients decide whether they wish to proceed.

   The consultation will take about half an hour and there is no obligation to proceed with the treatment.  Once a course of treatment has started, the medical staff will discuss the progress of the treatment in order to decide whether the type of treatment needs to be changed, or even halted.  At all times, the patient will be fully informed about all aspects of the treatment.

   A test patch will always be taken before any course of Laser or IPL treatments begin.  This is to ensure that there will be no adverse skin reactions to the Laser or IPL - an adverse reaction is highly unlikely, but needs to be tested.  The test patch can be done at the initial consultation, or arranged for a later date.

   While consultations for Laser or IPL treatments are free, there will normally be a small charge for test patches - if the patient decides to go ahead with the treatment, the test patch charge will be taken off the treatment cost.
