Introduction
The Svelte ultrasound system provides a revolutionary new treatment to
get rid of unwanted fat on your abdomen, flanks and thighs. It is
also extremely effective in reducing cellulite. The Svelte
combines ultrasound with a deep tissue vacuum massage to break down fat
deposits and improve blood flow and cellular function. How does it work?
Svelte is two treatments in one. Firstly a vacuum massage
technique is applied to the skin using a motorised device with
adjustable rollers and controlled suction. The skin gently folds
and unfolds under the continuous action of the rollers and is literally
smoothed out. The tissue under the skin also flattens, which
lessens the appearance of cellulite. As a result of this action,
the circulation of the blood to the area is increased and this
nourishes the blood cells under the skin and helps to promote the
formation of new collagen in the treated area. At the same time,
toxins and unwanted fluids are also removed. This part of the
treatment is very similar to the well-known "endermologie" treatment.
The second part of the treatment deals with stubborn cellulite and
hugely improves the fat reduction process. SVELTE is unique in
that it also provides ultrasound therapy. Ultrasound pads are
attached to the treatment area for 20 minutes. The gentle heating
and vibrating action of the ultrasound breaks down and melts the fat,
releasing it from the fat cells into the bloodstream so that it can be
removed by the body's natural waste processes. Am I suitable for treatment?
If you are generally healthy, not excessively overweight and do not
suffer from any skin diseases or infections in the treatment area, the
SVELTE can help you to re-contour your body. How does the treatment feel? Treatment is not painful - most people merely feel a mild tingling sensation. What should I expect after treatment?
The benefits are progressive. Normal activities can proceed
immediately and no special aftercare is required. The system
works best if moderate exercise is undertaken within a couple of hours
of each treatment as this increases the efficiency of the removal of
fat. Since the lymph system is stimulated by this procedure, it
is important to drink plenty of water every day during treatment in
order to help the removal of toxins. How many treatments are necessary?
A course of 10 to 15 treatments is often recommended and two treatments
a week can be carried out. In the case of stubborn cellulite,
additional treatments may be required and periodic maintenance sessions
are strongly recommended. Are there any side-effects? There is a minor risk of mild bruising of the skin. |
